The “Soft Hand Off”

What’s one of the BIGGEST reasons most of us never seem to be able to break away for working for someone else and live the lifestyle we really want to?

My educated guess is that it has everything to do with our fear of taking that GIANT LEAP into the unknown.

I mean, how do you leave a steady paycheck that puts food on the table?

Well, thank goodness there’s a disarmingly simple answer to that question.

You DON’T.

At least, NOT YET.

Contrary to the ‘black and white’ type of thinking that most of us subject ourselves to, there’s PLENTY of ‘grey area’ when it comes to becoming an entrepreneur.

One of the greatest ways to demonstrate just how true that is is by describing what I call the “soft hand-off”.

Simply put, you can begin to test the waters of entrepreneurship even as you keep your ‘day job’ for now.

This is ESPECIALLY true if you’ve been thinking about getting into Internet marketing.

After work and/or on your days off you can start a blog, build a social media following or even get a web site up and running.

You can do it with almost no ‘seed money’.

And best of all, you can focus on what you enjoy and are truly passionate about. So it won’t feel like a ‘second job’.

(Oh, and by the way…that’ll also be your first taste of exactly how much FUN it can be to unchain yourself from the office. Doing what you love is what that TRUE FREEDOM that I was talking about last time is all about.)

From there you can start learning the ropes when it comes to affiliate marketing or even write your own e-book.

Whatever you’d like–all based on YOUR passions and in the direction YOU want to take.

But all in the interest of starting to REPLACE your income 100%.

That’s right. You don’t have to quit your current job ‘cold turkey’.

And you don’t have to bet all your chips on your first shot at entrepreneurship either.

Feel better already? You should.

And remember always, even though you don’t necessarily HAVE to move from your current job to entrepreneurship all in one fell swoop, it SURE DOESN’T HURT to make the transition as quickly as possible.
